What better excuse could there be to put on your best dress, buy yourself a hat and spend all morning getting ready for an afternoon of fun?

Ladies' Day is a special day in the racing calendar, for which women and men are invited to dress up and make a day of it. As they take in the thrill of the horses thundering by, the dapper crowds enjoy Pimm's, wine or beer, and many dine at the restaurant or picnic out on the grass by the track. Ladies' Day is a gorgeous day out - offering fantastic entertainment for all the family.

For the men, smart casual is the dress code, although at Ladies Day men always tends to err on the side of the former. Smart trousers and a collar always do the trick, even if it's only a polo shirt. If you're going for the best dressed couple, a suit or sports jacket might see you in with a chance, and certainly won't look out of place on Ladies Day.

There are fantastic prizes for Best Dressed Lady, Best Hat and Best dressed couple.   The winners of each category will receive a £150 Gift Card to use at the Ashford Designer Outlet.  The three runners up will also receive £50 gift cards to spend at the Outlet
